Four ways to get in touch
Whichever you use, you will be speaking to someone in the practice rather than a call centre.
Telephone
Quickest for anything time-sensitive — a notice with a reply window, or a deadline this week.

Before you call, it helps to have
Bring it to us before responding. Have the notice itself to hand — the section quoted on it and the response deadline determine everything that follows.
Most notices are routine: mismatches, verification requests, defective returns. The reply window is short and a hurried first response is difficult to undo, which is the main reason to call early rather than late.
Useful to know: how many owners, whether you need liability protection, whether outside investment is likely, and roughly what turnover you expect in the first year.
You do not need documents at this stage. The first conversation is about choosing a structure; documents follow once that is settled.
Bring the last two years of filings and the current year’s records if you have them. If you do not, that is itself useful information.
We start with a compliance health check to establish what has been filed, what is outstanding and what needs correcting, then take the calendar forward from there.
Kolkata is UTC+5:30. Calls and video meetings can be scheduled around your time zone rather than ours — say in your first message where you are.
Most NRI matters are handled without the client travelling, including representation before the department.
Applications go through the careers page rather than this one, so that they reach the right person. Email your CV to the same address with the role in the subject line.
What happens next
We acknowledge
A call or message is answered by someone in the practice, not a queue. If the matter is urgent, say so — a notice with a deadline is treated differently from a general enquiry.
The first consultation
In the office, by telephone or by video. You describe the situation; we tell you what applies, roughly what it costs and how long it takes. This is free and carries no obligation.
Written scope and fee
Set out before any work begins, with government fees and stamp duty itemised separately from ours.
Work begins
Handled by the discipline that owns it, with a named person you can call about it.
Your calendar goes live
Every recurring obligation scheduled, with reminders before each date rather than after.
